Going to South Beach, Miami? Make sure you get to B.E.D.

FROM the moment you step into B.E.D, you know it’s going to be a night of extraordinarily glamorous proportions!
Anyone who has been lucky enough to visit Miami would know that South Beach is one of the hottest places under the sun.
The beach is overflowing with well-oiled, tanned ‘n’ toned bodies, tropical cocktails to die for, big name DJs pumping the latest club tunes and celebs galore –it is Heaven on Earth!
B.E.D. (an acronym for Beverage, Entertainment, Dining) embodies all that Miami’s South Beach has to offer. Exotic, glamourous and sexy, this is the place to be and to be seen.
An inviting ambience awaits you at B.E.D. An exceedingly plush venue that serves dinner, entertainment and drinks in luxuriously large white beds covered in big fluffy pillows to lie or sit on. The raised platforms have billowing white chiffon drapes that cover the entrance to each bed; it gives a feeling of a roman palace and certainly encourages emperor-style eating.
A place this sexy simply has to be included in any visit to Miami, it’s little wonder, then, that B.E.D.’s guestlist boasts names such as Ja Rule, P. Diddy, Britney, Justin Timberlake and Craig David.
Now, although B.E.D. is well-known as one of the hottest clubs in America, little is said about how damn good the food is there. Having experienced it first-hand, I can honestly say that the culinary delights on B.E.D.’s menu are simply stunning!
I was lucky enough to try four of the amazing delicacies on offer.
For entrée you simply must try the open crab ravioli. For a main, I would thoroughly recommend either the melt-in-your-mouth Filet Mignon, with roast baby red bliss potatoes, sautéed shoestring zucchini with Cabernet sauce, or the Lobster Santos – a Caribbean style dish, with baked pineapple, celery and tomatoes with a coconut cashew ginger sauce.
If you think that sounds good, wait until you see the dessert menu!
Aptly named, Cloud Nine is a soufflé that will seriously send you to heaven. The fluffiest of egg whites, baked to perfection, with a Dulce De Leche sauce. Even if you can’t fit another thing in, you will find room for this one. It is truly blissful!!
Another bonus about B.E.D., especially for those who fear the stringent anti-smoking policies of the US, or those who like a good Cuban cigar now and then, is that you are able to light up at your leisure.
After an outstanding dinner, you can either stay in your BED for bottle service, which starts at 12.30am, or hit the dancefloor for some R ‘n’ B, Old School, Funk or House depending on what night you choose to go.
