Xfm to host New Year's Eve party

LONDON’S alternative radio station, Xfm, is to stage its very own New Year’s Eve party at the Carling Academy Islington.
The night takes place on Saturday, December 31 from 9pm to 4am and will include DJ sets from Xfm regulars Lucio (pictured), Adam Longworth, Dan Greenpeace and Nick Luscombe.
The station’s First Friday residents Jared DP, Jo & Jo will also be there to play out the very best indie anthems, floor fillers and pint spillers.
Expect to hear music from the likes of The Strokes, Franz Ferdinand, Kings Of Leon, The Zutons, The Kaiser Chiefs, The White Stripes, Jet, The Killers and Razorlight – some of which will be played live by Xfm’s special live band.
