21 Jump Street - Londoners take part in the Channing Tatum video challenge
Preview by Jack Foley
To celebrate the release of 21 Jump Street on Blu-ray, DVD and digital today (July 9, 2012) members of the general public in London were challenged to see if they could do any better than Jenko (played by Channing Tatum) does in the film at remembering the Miranda Rights.
So, a camera crew hit the streets of London (Whiteley’s Shopping Centre), ambushed random passers-by (politely asked if they wanted to be included in a video) and gave them plenty of time to refresh their memories (not really, we’re mean).
The results are an absolutely incredible, amazingly funny (surprisingly good) video showing the state of the nation’s familiarity with arresting procedure. And we thought we all watched The Wire?
