Age of Kill

Preview by Jack Foley

PLATFORM Entertainment is thrilled to announce its action-thriller, Age of Kill – starring Martin Kemp, Philip Davis, Patrick Bergin, Anouska Mond, April Pearson, Bruce Payne, Dexter Fletcher, Nick Moran, Donna Air, Lucy Pinder and Dani Dyer – will be released on Blu-ray and DVD on June 15, 2015.

Directed by Neil Jones and produced by Jonathan Sothcott, Age of Kill tells the story of disgraced special ops sniper Sam Blake (Martin Kemp), who is plunged into a world of darkness when his daughter, (Dani Dyer), is kidnapped by a mysterious terrorist.

The ransom is a special mission – Blake is ordered to assassinate six seemingly random targets within six hours on the streets of London. With no one to turn to, Blake is forced to carry out their evil bidding.

At first, the police believe they are dealing with a lone mad man but a pattern begins to emerge hinting that sinister forces may be behind this , orchestrating the slaughter.

Having starting his acting career in The Krays alongside brother Gary, Kemp went on to enjoy popular success with Eastenders and has since turned his hand to producing and directing.

Age Of Kill brings the Taken-style Hollywood action formula to contemporary London and shows that Kemp can cut it as an action hero.

Martin Kemp said: “I am very excited to have had the opportunity to play this role and hope audiences enjoy it as much as I did.”

Director Neil Jones added: “I’m proud to be showing this film, especially as we shot a large part of it in London. This isn’t your typical British gangster film that some audiences might expect.”
