Angels of Evil - Preview

Angels of Evil

Preview by Jack Foley

DESCRIBED as the Italian Mesrine (The Independent), Angels of Evil is set in 1970’S Italy and is a true story of the Italian underworld’s most infamous outlaw.

A criminal by age 9, Renato Vallanzasca grew up to become the country’s most notorious mobster before the age of 27.

While Vallanzasca lived by his own professional code of honour – he claimed that he never ‘shot anyone in the back’ – he and his gang took out their enemies and wrested control of the Milan underworld with a string of high profile robberies, kidnappings and murders.

Director Michele Placido reunites with his Romanzo Criminale star Kim Rossi Stuart alongside Filippo Timi (The American, Vincere), Moritz Bleibtreu (The Baader Meinhof Complex, Das Experiment) and Paz Vega (Sex and Lucia, Spanglish) in this incredible true life story.

Special features included on both the DVD and Blu-ray release are The Making of Angels of Evil featurette, an interview with actor Kim Rossi Stewart, deleted scenes and a theatrical trailer.

Angels of Evil is out on Blu-ray and DVD on October 24 from Artificial Eye.
