WITH worldwide hits such as Wichita Lineman and Rhinestone Cowboy, legendary country and Western artist Glen Campbell has released more than 70 albums, sold 45 million plus records earning gold and platinum albums galore, including nine number ones in a career that has spanned some 60 years.

In 2011, Glen Campbell set out on an unprecedented tour, across the US, Australia and Europe with more than 150 sell out performances.

But this was no ordinary tour, he had recently been diagnosed with Alzheimer’s, but instead of hanging up his cowboy boots and waiting to succumb to the inevitable he and his wife announced his illness and the intended farewell tour to the World.

His incredible tour and struggle with the devastating effects of the disease has been documented by James Keach in the moving feature documentary Glen Campbell: I’ll Be Me, which makes its UK DVD debut courtesy of Simply Media on May 23, 2016.
