Return to Murder

Preview by Jack Foley

A COMPLEX story of murder, passion and greed, Return To Murder takes a look at the darker side of family relationships when it is released on July 9, 2012 on DVD and Blu-ray courtesy of Universal Pictures (UK).

Focusing on the rough underground world of Malaysian kick boxing and directed by Dain Iskandar Said (Dukan), this gritty foreign film mixes high octane martial arts with complex family drama, violence and corruption.

Deep in debt, the youngest of the three brothers Adil (Zahiril Adzim), a prolific kickboxer, finds himself fighting for his life when a match turns violent.

When he flees the match it’s not long before his estranged assassin brother Ilham (Faizal Adzim) is hired to hunt him down. Meanwhile Bakar (Pekin Ibrahim), the oldest of the three brothers, returns to their hometown to look after their ailing father, a puppet master in name and by nature.

With the trio’s homecoming to Bunohan – a place whose name alone means murder, bitter memories of longing, retribution and loss are awakened causing the brothers darker sides to emerge.

As the secrets of their father’s life unravel before them it is not long before violence, bloodshed and ultimately murder follow.

Return to Murder is a must-see for all martial arts fans. From its gritty story to explosive combat scenes, this is one fight not to be missed when it is released on DVD and Blu-ray courtesy of Universal Pictures (UK) on July 9, 2012.
