GET ready for a wild and wacky trip as the crazy crew of a wildlife TV show head back to nature in the outrageous comedy Strange Wilderness, arriving on DVD August 4, 2008 from Paramount Home Entertainment.
Executive producer Adam Sandler (Click, Anger Management) brings together a sensational ensemble cast of talent from some of the biggest comedies in recent years, in the film that stars Steve Zahn (Sahara), Jonah Hill (Superbad, Knocked Up), Justin Long (Dodgeball), and Oscar winner Ernest Borgnine (Marty).
Strange Wilderness is an outlandish road comedy with one of the most inept groups of misfits ever assembled on screen.
After the genial host of popular wildlife show ‘Strange Wilderness’ passes on to the great nature special in the sky, his son Peter Gaulke (Zahn) takes over the series and things are never the same. As the show takes a steep ratings decline, Peter hatches a plan to hunt down the one animal that could truly turn things around and change the nature-show landscape forever – Bigfoot.
The Strange Wilderness DVD features side-splitting bonus material including Cooker’s Song, which is performed by Superbad’s Jonah Hill, an in-depth look at the turkey sequence, behind-the-scenes featurettes and a host of deleted scenes.
