Synopsis

In 1984 Sarah Connor (Linda Hamilton) managed to escape from the ruthless cyborg (Arnold Schwarzenegger) sent to kill her and her unborn baby.

Ten or so years later, the baby is now troubled youth John Connor (Edward Furlong), left to his own devices whilst his mother is locked in a state mental hospital for telling “crazy” tales of an apocalyptical future.

John is still, however, destined to lead the humans to victory in the future war against computers, so they send another, more advanced version of the killing machine back in time to terminate him.

Hot on his heels is the original cyborg, this time turned protector, but which will reach John and Sarah first?

The latest Terminator movie, Terminator Salvation opens in cinemas on June 3. It’s set sin post-apocalyptic 2018, where John Connor (Christian Bale) is the man fated to lead the human resistance against Skynet and its army of Terminators.
