BRENT (The Twilight Saga: Eclipse‘s Xavier Samuel), a 17-year-old student is grieving after the recent loss of his father in a car accident, in which he was driving. Slowly starting to pick up the pieces with the help of a new love.

But there’s another girl who yearns to comfort Brent, Lola (Robin McLeavy), the quietest girl in school and when Brent politely declines her invite to the school prom he enters a nightmare beyond imagining.

That polite refusal amounts to the biggest mistake Brent ever made, because whether he wants to or not, he will be attending a dance with Lola….her father will see to that.

A terrifying series of events take place under a mirrored disco ball involving pink satin, glitter, syringes, nails and power drills.

Effectively blending the violence with blackly comic humour, The Loved Ones is a sexy, fun, relentlessly attacking pop-horror nightmare. It’s John Hughes gone straight to hell.
