The Selfish Giant - Preview

The Selfish Giant

Preview by Jack Foley

THE second feature from Clio Barnard, the director of The Arbor, is one of the great British films of the year.

Set on the outskirts of Bradford, the film follows two young lads, Arbor and Swifty, and their dealings with a local scrap dealer.

Boldly cinematic and featuring astonishing performances from the two leads, The Selfish Giant further cements Barnard’s reputation as a visionary filmmaker.

Extras include an interview with Director Clio Barnard, an interview with actors Connor Chapman and Shaun Thomas, 7 deleted scenes, an alternative ending and the theatrical trailer.

The Selfish Giant is released on DVD and Blu-ray on January 27, 2014.
