THE perfect couple becomes the perfect target in the sexy, psychological thriller The Stranger Within, available on DVD from Sony Pictures Home Entertainment on February 17, 2014.

Billy Baldwin (Forgetting Sarah Marshall, Sliver, Backdraft) and Estella Warren (The Cooler, Planet of the Apes) sizzle as a young married couple whose dream holiday on a remote Mediterranean island becomes a living nightmare when they meet a mysterious woman (Sarah Butler, I Spit on Your Grave) with blood on her hands and a penchant for mind games.

Filmed on location in Spain, New York and Copenhagen, this intensely erotic and suspenseful thriller premiered at the prestigious 2013 Berlin Film Festival.

Synopsis:

After a traumatic ordeal, acclaimed actress Emily Moore (Warren) and her psychiatrist husband, Robert (Baldwin) escape on a relaxing holiday to a gorgeous remote Mediterranean island. But on the first night at the house, a young woman (Butler) arrives, with blood on her hands and hysterical from the death of her boyfriend in a hiking accident.

Robert offers to take in and help the young girl, but her suggestive behaviour makes Emily wonder if she might be a threat to their marriage… or her life.

The Stranger Within was written, produced and directed by Adam Neutzsky-Wulff. It has a run time of approximately 1 hour 26 minutes and is rated 15 for violent content, including a rape, sexuality, nudity and language.
