ACCLAIMED Scottish gangster movie The Wee Man comes to DVD and Blu-ray on July 8, 2013, and we have 3 DVDs to give away!

Martin Compston (The Disappearance of Alice Creed, Sweet Sixteen) heads an all-star cast in The Wee Man which includes John Hannah (The Mummy trilogy, TV’s Spartacus), Denis Lawson (Perfect Sense, Star Wars trilogy), Laura McMonagle (Lip Service), Clare Grogan (Gregory’s Girl), Stephen McCole (Neds), Rita Tushingham (Being Julia, Doctor Zhivago) and 12-year-old Daniel Kerr who became the youngest ever BAFTA New Talent winner for his role as the young Paul Ferris.

Hollywood legend Patrick Bergin (Patriot Games, Sleeping with the Enemy) plays Arthur Thompson, the UK’s last known Godfather and completes a fantastic cast that brings the extraordinary true life-story of reformed Glaswegian gangster Paul Ferris to the screen.

The Scottish Sun called the film “Scotland’s most controversial movie in decades” and it comes to DVD & Blu-ray on July 8 after a hugely successful Scottish theatrical release.

Written and directed by Ray Burdis (producer of The Krays and director of Love, Honour & Obey), the film follows Paul (Compston) from his roots as an ordinary young kid with decent, hardworking parents in the notorious area of Blackhill, Glasgow on his journey to become Scotland’s most feared gangster.
