UK sleeping beauty tucks herself into bed at Waterloo Station

Sleeping Beauty at Waterloo

Story by Jack Foley

TO celebrate the release of Sleeping Beauty on DVD, Revolver Entertainment held an exclusive competition giving students from around the UK the opportunity to transform from baggy-eyed to revitalised.

The lucky winner received £1,000 for taking 12 hours out of her stressful student lifestyle to sleep all-day in a luxurious bed in the middle of London’s busy Waterloo Station.

With student fees rising by £9,000 each year, 22-year-old student Sarah Jane Hurst was only too happy to answer Revolver Entertainment’s call to be the UK’s real Sleeping Beauty and win £1,000.

And she took part in the challenge at Waterloo on Thursday, February 23, attracting regular crowds of on-lookers and amateur photographers.

Studying Archaeology & History of Arts at Manchester University, third year student, Sarah is hoping to do an MA in Acting next year. £1,000 will help her to fund her tuition fees, pay off her student debts and stop living off flavour-less noodles.
