THE all-action blockbuster War stars Jet Li and Jason Statham as two bitter enemies on a violent collision course in the underground world of the Asian mob.

Packed with kick-ass martial arts combat sequences and non-stop shoot-outs as the rivals clash, War is great fun for fans of both action leading men.

After his partner and his partner’s family are brutally murdered by the infamous and elusive assassin Rogue (Li), FBI Agent Jack Crawford (Statham) embarks on a personal mission of vengeance to bring the elusive killer to justice.

Racked with guilt, his life spirals out of control until three years later when Rogue resurfaces in San Francisco to settle a score of his own, and Jack finally has his chance to take revenge.

Rogue’s own act of vengeance ignites a bloody crime war between Asian mob rivals Chang (John Lone) of the Triad’s and Yakuza boss Shiro (Ryo Ishibashi).

Skilfully pitting the rival mob gangs against one another with a series of murders and ploys, Rogue walks a fine line between honour and betrayal to see the mob gangs wiped out forever.

Meanwhile, Jack is hot on Rogue’s trail of death and destruction and incensed with his need for retribution. Jack leads his team headlong into the conflict, but will this thirst for revenge cloud his judgement and put in jeopardy his mission to find his prey?

Exploding onto DVD on February 4, 2008, War – directed by Philip G. Atwell – is packed with DVD extras including audio commentaries, featurettes, deleted/extended scenes, trivia tracks and gag reels.
