AIR TEN, a selling exhibition of new work from six accomplished designers who are recent Artists in Residence in Glasgow School of Art’s Silversmithing and Jewellery Department, is on display at the Lesley Craze Gallery until July 31, 2010.
Air Ten shows the vastly differing approaches to jewellery from a contemporary group of young, international designer-makers, many of whom have already exhibited internationally.
From work inspired by the Highlands landscape to designs evoking one designer’s travels in Japan, their work is varied and together comprises an innovative collection of contemporary applied arts.
The exhibition features work by Amy C Mackay, Jennifer Gray, Soizig Marie Carey, Jan Rooney, Victoria Marie Coleman and Lauren Wethers.
Admission: Free.
Times: Tuesday to Saturday from 10am to 5.30pm.
