FROM January to November 2009, Alan Cristea Gallery is presenting work by four young female recent graduates and solo exhibitions by Ian Davenport, Joe Tilson, Howard Hodgkin, Anni Albers and Boo Ritson.
Young Contemporaries 09 – from Wednesday, January 28 to Saturday, February 28.
Young Contemporaries 09 is a group exhibition where film and photography are the inspiration and source material for elaborate works on paper by four young female UK-based artists: Kate Atkin, Marie Harnett, Nathalie Guinamard and Eilidh Young.

An exhibition of new prints and monoprints by British artist and Turner prize nominee Ian Davenport.

Joe Tilson – from Wednesday, April 22 to Saturday, May 30.
An exhibition of new work by British painter, sculptor and printmaker Joe Tilson who, in 2008, celebrated his 80th birthday. His recent work has involved working with glass in Murano, Venice.
This show coincides with the London Original Print Fair and the publication of a catalogue raisonné.

Howard Hodgkin – from Wednesday, June 3 to Saturday, July 11.
An exhibition of new large prints by British artist Howard Hodgkin. The centre piece is a 20ft long print, the largest Hodgkin has made to date and possibly any artist has made.
Anni Albers – from Wednesday, September 9 to Saturday, October 10.
A retrospective of Anni Albers’ work and a first exhibition by the Josef and Anni Albers Foundation.
Boo Ritson – from Tuesday, October 13 to Saturday, November 21.
An exhibition of new work by British artist Boo Ritson.
Alan Cristea Gallery is the largest dealer and publisher of 20th-century and contemporary prints in Europe, publishing prints by the very best international artists as well as regularly showing paintings, works on paper, light-boxes and installations. In 2007, the gallery expanded and is now at 31 and 34 Cork Street.
