Amazon Adventure: Vicious Fishes and Other Riches - Horniman Museum
THE HORNIMAN Museum’s family exhibition for 2013 is Amazon Adventure: Vicious Fishes and Other Riches and it’s on display from February 16 to November 24, 2013.
Visit the museum for a family trip along the Amazon, the world’s largest and most biologically diverse river. Learn about exotic creatures including mysterious pink dolphins, piranhas and anacondas, meet live tetras and stingrays, feel the zap of an electric eel and discover the environmental dangers facing the Amazon.
A mix of hands-on activities, colourful artwork, scientific research, and live specimens makes Amazon Adventure a fun, interactive experience for visitors of all ages!
This is a dual language exhibition in English and Spanish.

British Wildlife Photography Awards 2011 continues at the Horniman Museum until February 24, 2013.
Also at the Horniman Museum (Balcony Gallery) until March 1, 2014, is an exhibition entitled The Art of Harmony: The V&A and Horniman Music Collections.
Bringing together musical instruments on loan from the V&A and complementary objects from the Horniman, The Art of Harmony explores traditions of Western classical music and the varied role of instruments as makers of music, works of art and status symbols.
