AN INTERESTING new exhibition of abstract paintings and mixed media creations will be available to view at The Menier Gallery in London from February 20 to March 3, 2007.
Anatolian Rhapsody is the work of South London-based Anglo-Turkish artist Aynur Karaman, who studied at Camberwell College of Arts and Chelsea College of Art & Design.
Karaman has a unique approach to abstractism. She describes her paintings and mixed media creations as “abstract expressionism”.
Each work of art is a composition of the rhythm of nature, the natural flow of life; using intertwined lines, shapes and decorative patterns.
The bold bright colours are used to represent the enery of life creating an inspirational avant-garde deco abstract pieces.
