Archives - Red Gate Gallery
Preview by Lizzie Guilfoyle
ARCHIVES, an installation by students of Camberwell College of Art that explores the interaction and intrinsic curiosity of the viewer, will be on display at the Red Gate Gallery from February 13 to February 19, 2009.
Archives is an installation of seemingly ‘retro’ and ‘old skool’ objects designed and curated in order to draw in audience participation.
This week long event will explore and document the changing nature of an exhibition open to public interaction. By day, the installations by Oliver Bremner, Charlotte Cranidge and Lucian Trestler will provide members of the public with a space for expression and exploration within a Gallery environment.
By night, the space will be transformed into a place to see and be seen in and Archives will present a line up of exciting DJ’s and bands preparing to make this unique space their venue.
Private View: Friday, February 13, 2009 from 6pm to 11pm.
Times: Saturday, Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday from 2.30pm to 6.30pm. Thursday (last day of exhibition) from 11am to 5pm.
