Art and Contemporary Designer Craft Fair 2011
THE LONDON Art and Contemporary Designer Craft Fair, organised by Craft In Focus, is returning to the Queen Charlotte Hall in the centre of Richmond Upon Thames, where it runs from October 7 to October 9, 2011.
This exciting event brings the public the very best of contemporary design from the leading professional artists and designer makers in the UK today.
Visitors will be able to purchase from a stunning treasure trove of original and affordable designs direct from British artists who have a real passion for the work they create, something that simply cannot be found among the mass-produced items sold on the high street.
It is also possible to commission bespoke pieces in a relaxed atmosphere for yourself, your home or someone special.
All of the exhibitors at Craft In Focus events have designed and made the work that they display, and have been selected for their individuality and innovation in contemporary design, as well as outstanding technical ability. Because of this, Craft in Focus has earned an enviable reputation for selecting only the very best designers, artists and craftsmen.
Amongst those new to the event this year are box maker Robert Ingham, silversmith Eve Claire Taylor, knitwear designer Cecile Jeffery and artist Alce Harfield.
Also worth checking out are Chloe Harford’s animal sculpture, Alan Ardiff’s kinetic jewellery, Hawkhill Forge’s collection of fused glass and iron furniture and Jeff Soan’s articulated wooden creatures.
Admission: £4.50. Accompanied under 14s free.
Opening Times: Daily from 10am to 5pm.
