THIS YEAR, the annual Art and Contemporary Designer Craft Show at the Queen Charlotte Hall, Richmond Upon Thames, is being held from December 4 to December 6, 2009.
The event staged by Craft In Focus, regularly listed as the best of its kind by the national media, is an exciting alternative to traditional Christmas shopping, providing an opportunity to buy unique gifts of a quality that is rarely seen amongst the mass produced items on the high street.
Visitors can shop in a relaxed atmosphere and purchase truly original items direct from the designer makers. It is also possible to commission bespoke pieces often at no extra cost for yourself or someone special.
All of the exhibitors at Craft In Focus events have designed and made the work that they display, and have been selected for their individuality and innovation in contemporary design, as well as outstanding technical ability. Because of this, Craft in Focus has earned an enviable reputation for selecting only the very best designers, artists and craftsmen.
Work includes ceramics, furniture, knitwear, clothing and accessories, jewellery, handbags, book safes, millinery, batik, photographic art, glassware, textiles, woodcarving, silversmithing, pewterware, sculpture, metal wall art, prints, sculpture and more.
