This will be the fourth time that a Cirque Du Soleil production has played at the London O2 Arena, following the huge success of the Delirium and Alegria shows at this prestigious London landmark.

London audiences have not seen Dralion since its last run of shows at the Royal Albert Hall in 2005, and now nearly 10 years on, it will return to delight fans of this wonderful and breathtaking production.

Dralion is a classic Cirque du Soleil production that has received international acclaim and astonished more than 8 million people worldwide since it premiered in Montreal in 1999. Dralion features an international cast of 50 performers, clowns, singers and musicicians from 15 different countries.

The amazing two-hour production features gravity-defying acrobatics which will wow and blow away audiences of all ages. Spectators will be at the edge of their seats when fearless aerialists bounce off trampolines using the wall as diving board and landing pad.

In the Crossed wheel act, the artist masters this unique acrobatic apparatus, turning, spinning and maneuveuring the wheel; while in the spectacular aerial hoop act, the aerialist is suspended high above the stage while performing some evocative choreography.

Fusing the 3000 year-old tradition of Chinese acrobatic arts with the multidisciplinary approach of Cirque du Soleil, Dralion (pronounced “Dra-lee-on”) draws its inspiration from Eastern philosophy and its never-ending quest for harmony between humans and nature.

The show’s name is derived from its two emblematic creatures: the dragon, symbolizing the East, and the lion, symbolizing the West.

In Dralion, the four elements that govern the natural order take on a human form. Thus embodied, each element is represented by its own evocative colour: air is blue; water is green; fire is red; earth is ochre.

In the world of Dralion, cultures blend, Man and Nature are one, and balance is achieved.
