Force Field (Legend of Apollo) - Science Museum
Force Field, a new, permanent multi-sensory simulator experience at the Science Museum, allows visitors to see and feel what it’s like to take part in a space mission.
Whether it’s feeling the impact of a Saturn V rocket launch, taking a trip on the lunar rover or discovering the smell of space, all ages will love this unique 3D simulation experience.
Using the latest simulation and effects technologies, former NASA Apollo astronaut Col. David R. Scott and Metropolis Entertainment Limited, makers of educational and experiential films, teamed up to create a new 3D film, Legend of Apollo, which provides a rare insight into the Apollo moon landings of the late 1960’s and early 1970’s.
As well as feeling and sensing what it was like to be a part of the ground-breaking Apollo missions, the film features actual NASA archival footage, Col. Scott’s personal reminiscences and exceptional 3D computer animation.
NB: Children under the age of 8 must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
Tickets: Adults £5, Concessions £4.
