Foyles Summer of Fun

Exhibition preview

THIS summer will see favourite children’s book characters and stories take over Foyles stores across London and Bristol as part of the first Foyles Summer of Fun.

Themes of art, nature, fantasy and science will run across the festival where Foyles will aim to bring books to life with immersive theatre experiences, visits from kids’ favourite characters, film screenings and workshops.

With a variety of events from the worlds of Minecraft, Where’s Wally, Alice in Wonderland, Star Wars and craft events with Aardman, creators of Shaun the Sheep, there’s something for every child at Foyles this summer.

There will be activities for children of all ages, catering to those in the 0-5, 5-8, 8-12 and 12+ groups, with highlights including a Mad Hatter’s Tea Party and the chance to build your own Star Wars droid.

Taking place during the school holidays, Foyles Summer of Fun is the perfect way for kids and families to immerse themselves in their favourite stories, books and characters.

Full programme details will be announced nearer the time. For more information and for tickets, please visit www.foyles.co.uk/events.
