Frank Skinner's Credit Crunch Cabaret
Story by Jack Foley
FRANK Skinner is to host a budget-busting series of Variety Shows at the Lyric Theatre in London for just £10, in a bid to banish the depression caused by the credit crunch.
As the popular TV entertainer states: “Times are tough. The pound is falling, purse strings are tightening and it looks like you’ll never be able to get pick ‘n’ mix from Woolies again… So, what better time than now for a little entertainment?”
Hence, the Credit Crunch Cabaret shows will present award-winning comedians, West End stars and fantastic musical acts, including, Dave Gorman, Connie Fisher, Russell Howard and Tara Palmer Tomkinson.
There will also be appearances from Ian Broudie, Hugh Cornwell, Isy Suttie, Chris Addison, Fascinating Aida, Al Murray and We Are Klang… not to mention the odd mytsery guest!
Frank Skinner’s Credit Crunch Cabaret takes place from Monday, February 16 to Monday, March 2, 2009. The Lyric Theatre is located on Shaftesbury Avenue.
