Halloween in St James's Park
ON SUNDAY, October 31, 2010, enjoy Halloween at a free family event in St James’s Park, where you can carve pumpkins and participate in a number of Halloween themed fun activities.
Pumpkin carving takes place between 12 noon and 3pm close to the ‘Inn the Park’ restaurant and includes a scariest pumpkin competition which will be judged at 5pm. Entries can also be carved at home before the event.
Children can also decorate cookies and fairy cakes, visit Pumpkin Village, have their face painted and join in craft activities such as making bats, spiders and hats.
There will also be a Halloween fancy dress competition, which will again be judged at 5pm with an exciting prize for the winning entry.
The Royal Parks venue is also hosting a Peyton & Byrne Farmers’ Market from 11am – 3pm, which gives visitors the chance to stock up on delicious seasonal food and drink.
‘Inn the Park’ restaurant will be serving a special menu with ingredients sourced from the suppliers featured at the Halloween farmer’s market. The two course menu costs £18.50 – for more information and to make a reservation, call 020 7451 9999.
