THE annual Hampton Court Palace Flower Show will take place from July 8 to July 13, 2008.
This RHS spectacle is the largest of its kind in the world and features around 50 display gardens including the tranquil water gardens, a category unique to this show, and the innovative conceptual gardens showcasing the next big names in garden design.
And with both contemporary and traditional designs, there’s bound to be something to suit all tastes.
As well as an abundance of flowers – in gardens as well as in floral marquees – there will also be floral art, fruit and vegetables, floristry and hundreds of opportunities to buy gifts and gadgets.
The Hampton Court Palace Flower Show Charity Gala Preview on Monday, July 7 (6pm to 11pm) is a Midsummer’s Eve of champagne, entertainment and the very best in horticulture. So gather a group of friends or family, or plan a romantic treat for two, and indulge in an evening of dramatic gardens, artistic floral displays, live music and spectacular fireworks.
