Hats: An Anthology by Stephen Jones - V&A

AN EXHIBITION entitled Hats: An Anthology by Stephen Jones will be on display at the Victoria and Albert Museum from February 24 to May 10, 2009.
The exhibition, a collaboration between the Victoria and Albert Museum and Stephen Jones, one of the world’s foremost hat designers, will feature over 300 hats chosen with the expert eye of a milliner.
These will include an Egyptian Anubis mask dating from 600BC, a 1950’s Balenciaga hat and couture creations by Jones and his contemporaries.
And to show the universal appeal and delight of wearing hats, Jones has included a wide variety of styles including top hats, berets and a child’s plastic tiara.
