London Photo Festival
THE FIFTH London Photo Festival will take place from October 3 to October 5, 2013, in The Crypt of St George the Martyr Church and the themes will be Black and White Photography and Night Photography.
Photographers are invited to submit their work now at www.londonphotofestival.org/.
Emma Mapp and Kit Shah, Co-founders of the London Photo Festival, said:
We created the London Photo Festival in 2011 to showcase up and coming talent and to provide new and emerging photographers with an opportunity to exhibit their work, have it professionally appraised and sell their work to the public. We will be holding our 5th Festival in October and we hope to continue to grow and promote photographers from around the globe.”
The judge this year is Zoe Whishaw, commercial photographer, editor and art director, formerly of Getty Images (www.zoewhishaw.com/Bio.html). She will also be doing portfolio reviews.
Chiara Gerevasi, exhibiting photographer, said:
“I joined the London Photo Festival for the first time in October 2012, and then again in May 2013. The London Photo Festival has given me the confidence I was missing to start my own business. I’ve been working freelance since then on a regular basis. I’ll be back again this October, love the atmosphere, the people exhibiting and visiting it, and the organizers, Emma and Kit. If you love photography, whatever your level is, this is something you don’t want to miss!”
Dates and Times: October 3 (10.30am to 7pm), October 4 (10.30am to 8pm), October 5 (10.30am to 6pm).
