Michael Collins performs Weber's Clarinet Concerto

ON WEDNESDAY, February 18, 2009, Michael Collins will perform Weber’s Clarinet Concerto as part of the London Chamber Orchestra’s Basically Beethoven’ Season.

The concert, which also includes Beethoven’s Leonore Overture No.3 and Symphony No.6, will take place at St. John’s, Smith Square.

Collins is one of the world’s leading clarinettists, known for his virtuosity and sensitive musicianship.

The concert will be conducted by Maestro Warren-Green, LCO Music Director and Principal Conductor, who received praise for his recent trip to America as guest conductor for the Charlotte Symphony Orchestra.

Tickets: £25, £21, £17 and £10. Under 16’s free (limited availability).
