Serpentine Gallery Map Marathon


THE Serpentine Gallery is presenting the fifth event in its acclaimed Marathon series – on October 16 and October 17, 2010.

The multi-dimensional Map Marathon will feature non-stop live presentations by over 50 artists, poets, writers, philosophers, scholars, musicians, architects, designers and scientists.

Curated by Serpentine Gallery Co-Director Hans Ulrich Obrist, the Map Marathon will explore all forms of mapping, of data, space and time, multiple dimensions, language and the body.

The 10th Serpentine Gallery Pavilion designed by Jean Nouvel continues until October 17, 2010.

The first major UK exhibition by Swedish artist Klara Lidén will be on display at the Serpentine Gallery from October 7 to November 7, 2010.
