Story by Jack Foley

FILMING is set to begin on a 24 movie starring Kiefer Sutherland as Jack Bauer next year.

A film about the ongoing adventures of Jack Bauer has been planned for some time but is now fully on track with a screenwriter on board and a provisional start date set for April 2012, according to Deadline.com.

Mark Bomback, who recently penned Unstoppable, will polish Billy Ray’s existing script while Imagine Entertainment and 20th Century Fox have reportedly drawn up a shortlist of five directors.

Brian Grazer is to produce the film, with Imagine/Fox hoping to begin filming once Sutherland has a gap in his schedule. He is currently involved in new TV series, Touch.
