Adrien Brody and Jordana Brewster join St. Louis Bank Robbery remake

ADRIEN Brody and Jordana Brewster have joined the cast of American Heist, a remake of the 1959 Steve McQueen thriller, St. Louis Bank Robbery.

Hayden Christensen has already been cast in a prominent role but Brody and Brewster will also be joined by rapper Akon.

Sarik Andreasyan is directing the remake, which follows two brothers attempting to get their lives back on track. One is struggling on the road to normalcy, the other has just been released from prison.

However, their lives inter-twine when one drags the other into an ill-fated bank robbery spearheaded by a gang of dangerous criminals.

Brody recently completed Wes Anderson’s latest, Grand Budapest Hotel, while Brewster can currently be seen in Fast & Furious 6 on the big screen, as well as Dallas on the small screen.
