Adrien Brody to play mercenary hero in Predators

ADRIEN Brody has landed the lead role in Nimrod Antal’s Predator reboot, which is being overseen by Robert Rodriguez.
The Oscar-winning actor will play the heroic mercenary who battles alien hunters in Predators, according to Variety.
He will join a cast that already includes Danny Trejo, Alice Braga, Walt Goggins, Oleg Taktarov and Louiz Ozawa.
Variety reports that Brody had to lobby hard to get the role after deciding that he’d like to give the action genre a shot. He won his Oscar for Roman Polanski’s The Pianist, and has since appeared in the likes of King Kong, Hollywoodland and The Darjeeling Limited.
Shooting on the movie is about to begin in Hawaii.
