AL PACINO has joined the cast of Gotti: Three Generations, a true-life crime saga starring John Travolta as John Gotti Sr.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Pacino will play Gambino crime family underboss Neil Dellacroce, an associate and mentor to Gotti Sr.

The project will see Pacino reuniting with Barry Levinson, who recently stepped into direct. They recently worked together on HBO telefilm You Don’t Know Jack, for which Pacino won an Emmy.

The actor joins an ever-expanding cast that also includes Kelly Preston as Gotti Sr.’s wife Victoria, and Travolta’s daughter, Ella Bleu, as Angel Gotti, the daughter of John Sr. and Victoria.

Joe Pesci has also signed on to play Gotti Sr.’s associate Angelo Ruggiero, while Lindsay Lohan is to play Kim Gotti, John Gotti Jr.’s wife.

The roles yet of Gotti Jr. and his sister, Victoria, have yet to be cast.

James Toback, who previously worked with Levinson on Bugsy, has also joined the project to revise the screenplay.
