Andrew Garfield to make Broadway debut

ANDREW Garfield is to make his Broadway debut in a forthcoming adaptation of Arthur Miller’s classic play, Death of a Salesman.

The Amazing Spider-Man actor will play the son of Willy Loman, Biff, in the upcoming production, according to The New York Times.

He will join a cast that includes two-time Tony award nominee Philip Seymour Hoffman as the travelling salesman and Linda Emond as his wife, Linda.

The show is produced by Scott Rudin and will be directed by Mike Nicols. It is expected to open at the Barrymore Theater in March 2012.
