Angelina Jolie and Jennifer Aniston are top earning actresses

ANGELINA Jolie and Jennifer Aniston are the two highest earning actresses in Hollywood, according to a new list by Forbes.
Jolie tops the list by having earned $27 million between June 2008 and 2009, while Aniston registered $25 million. Both actresses enjoyed massive blockbuster hits during that period.
The bulk of Jolie’s income was derived from the success of action flick Wanted, although she also got a large upfront payment for her role in upcoming movie Salt.
Aniston, meanwhile, enjoyed massive success with Marley & Me and got an upfront payment for her next movie, The Baster. She also continues to receive a lot of royalties from Friends.
Elsewhere in the list, Meryl Streep came third with $24 million following the massive global success of Mamma Mia!, while Sarah Jessica Parker came fourth with $23 million thanks to the success of the Sex & The City revival.
The remainder of the top 10 reads like this: Cameron Diaz ($20 million), Sandra Bullock and Reese Witherspoon ($15 million each), Nicole Kidman and Drew Barrymore ($12 million each) and Renee Zellweger ($10 million).
According to Forbes, the top 10 women earned a combined total of $183 million between them, compared to the $393 million amassed by Hollywood’s top 10 men (which was headed by Harrison Ford).
