Anne Hathaway to star in Live Fast Die Hot

Anne Hathaway in Devil Wears Prada

Story by Jack Foley

ANNE Hathaway is to star in a film adaptation of the novel Live Fast Die Hot.

Based on the essay by humorist Jenny Mollen, the film will tackle motherhood and responsibility. In book form, the best-selling collection of stories was described by publisher Doubleday as “heartfelt and devastatingly honest”.

The film version is the latest in a long line of projects Hathaway is currently attached to.

The Oscar-winning star has also signed up to play a drone pilot in Grounded, a drama based on an off-Broadway play in which she starred, and is also set to be part of the ensemble cast of an all-female Ocean’s Eleven spin-off.

Prior to those, there’s Colossal, a sci-fi drama in which her character leaves her job and boyfriend behind in New York after establishing a psychic connection with a giant monster that is destroying South Korea. That film premieres at next month’s Toronto film festival.
