ANTONIO Banderas is in talks to join the cast of Steven Soderbergh’s action flick Knockout alongside mixed martial arts star Gina Carano.

The film follows Mallory Kane (played by Carano), a member of an elite unit, who is double-crossed and hunted down by assassins as she attempts to prove her innocence.

According to Playlist, Banderas is in negotiations to play the head of the unit who is setting her up.

Chaning Tatum is also on board in a smaller role as another former member of Kane’s team who is sent to retrieve her once she gets double-crossed.

Both actors will join a cast that already includes Ewan McGregor, Michael Fassbender, Michael Douglas and possibly Dennis Quaid.
