Aquaman gets October 2018 release date

Justice League

Story by Jack Foley

JASON Momoa’s Aquaman has been given a release date of October 5, 2018, in the US.

The Warner Bros. and DC superhero film is being directed by James Wan and will properly introduce a character from the DC universe that was only fleetingly seen in this year’s Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice.

Amber Heard also stars in the film as Mera, the love interest of Aquaman and eventual queen of Atlantis.

The film will be released in 3D and Imax.

Fans wanting to catch more of a glimpse of Aquaman prior to his own movie can catch more of him in next year’s superhero ensemble Justice League, which is out in 2017.

As yet, no other titles have been announced for that day.
