Astrid Berges-Frisbey in line for King Arthur reboot with Charlie Hunnam

Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides

Story by Jack Foley

ASTRID Berges-Frisbey is in talks to play Guinevere in a new version of King Arthur for the big screen.

If successful, the young actress – who has previously appeared in Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides – would line up alongside Son of Anarchy‘s Charlie Hunnam.

The film, named Knights of the Roundtable: King Arthur, is being produced by Warner Bros and would recount Arthur Pendragon’s journey to the throne.

Guy Ritchie is directing what Warner Bros hopes will be a series of films. Part one would feature the love story in its blooming stages, with the young princess saving the young prince and helping him believe in himself.

Idris Elba is already on board as Bedivere, the right-hand man of Arthur’s father who teaches the lad how to be a leader.

Besides playing the mermaid Syrena in Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides, Berges-Frisbey will shortly be seen in Mike Cahill’s I Origins.
