WARNER Bros, the studio behind Batman, has unveiled plans to reboot the franchise again!

The move will be made after director Christopher Nolan has completed his trio of more realistic movies starring Christian Bale in the title role and comes with a view to setting up a possible Justice League of America movie.

Nolan will remain involved, according to the report, but only in an advisory capacity as he has previously committed to making only make three Batman movies.

However, there is fresh hope that leading man Bale may continue in the role, aas he has recently admitted he may be willing to reprise the role for a fourth film.

Even so, any ‘fourth’ movie would be a reinvention, as Warner Bros president Jeff Robinov told the Los Angeles Times: “We have the third Batman, but then we’ll have to reinvent Batman. Chris Nolan and [producing partner and Nolan’s wife] Emma Thomas will be producing it, so it will be a conversation with them about what the next phase is.”

Turning to the possibility of a Justice League of America movie, featuring a coalition of DC Comics superheroes including Superman, Batman, Green Lantern, The Flash and Wonder Woman, Rubinov tentatively mentioned a 2013 release date.

Nolan’s third Batman movie, The Dark Knight Rises, is due out in UK cinemas on July 20, 2012.
