BILLY Bob Thornton looks set to join the cast of the Entourage movie.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Thornton is in talks to play a billionaire cowboy-turned-film financier who is financing a big budget movie version of Dracula starring Adrian Grenier’s Vinnie Chase.
He subsequently sends his 20-something son to keep an eye on things in LA.
Thornton is the first big name to be announced as a potential star alongside returning cast members Grenier, Kevin Connolly, Jerry Ferrara, Kevin Dillon and Jeremy Piven.
Shooting is, however, underway in LA with a plot that’s said to combine the making of the Dracula film with the usual girl chasing and best friend camaraderie that helped to make the HBO series such a success.
Doug Ellin wrote the script and is directing the movie.
Thornton recently completed shooting The Judge, a dramedy starring Robert Downey Jr and is also starring in FX’s 10-episode limited series, Fargo.
He was most recently seen on UK screens in JFK drama Parkland (pictured).
