Bobby Cannavale and Hank Azaria join Lovelace biopic

BOBBY Cannavale, Hank Azaria, Chris Noth and Robert Patrick have joined the cast of the Linda Lovelace biopic, Lovelace.

The ensemble players will join Amanda Seyfried and Peter Sarsgaard, which is being co-directed by Rob Epstein and Jeffrey Friedman.

Seyfried is playing the porn icon and Sarsgaard is her husband, Chuck Traynor.

But Azaria is slated to play Jerry Damiano, the director of infamous movie Deep Throat, the erotic 1972 film that catapulted Lovelace to world-wide fame, and Cannavale and Noth are set for the respective roles of the film’s financiers, Butchie Peraino and Anthony Romano.

Patrick will play Lovelace’s father, John.

Filming is due to begin on Tuesday next week (December 27, 2011) in Los Angeles.
