Bradley Cooper heads for Dark Fields

The Hangover

Story by Jack Foley

BRADLEY Cooper has signed on to appear in a mind-bending new thriller called Dark Fields.

The actor will play a down-and-out writer who experiences an upturn in fortunes when he gets his hands on a top secret drug that makes people smarter, according to the Hollywood Reporter.

Unfortunately, the pill has “lethal and lasting” side effects, including the ability to make him “trip-switch”, in which time moves with a stop-motion quality. He is also pursued by mystery figures.

Shia LaBeouf was originally attached to the project but has since departed, paving the way for Cooper to step in following the success of his summer hit, The Hangover.

The story is based on a book by Alan Glynn and is said to be in a similar style to the movies Fight Club and The Game.

Cooper will next be seen in romantic comedy All About Steve alongside Sandra Bullock, as well as The A-Team remake, playing Faceman. He is also signed up for The Hangover 2.
