BRUCE Willis and Kristen Stewart have joined the cast of Woody Allen’s new movie.

They will be joined by Jesse Eisenberg, who has previously collaborated with the filmmaker on 2012’s To Rome With Love. Both Willis and Stewart will be Allen newcomers.

As per normal, no plot details have been announced for the new film, which is yet to be given a name. But it will be produced by Allen’s regular partners, including his sister Letty Aronson, agent Stephen Tenenbaum (who has worked on 15 of his films) and cable-TV tycoon Edward Walson.

In the meantime, Allen is preparing his current project Irrational Man, which stars Joaquin Phoenix as an academic who has an affair with a student (played by Emma Stone).

That film is due for release in July 2015.

And Allen has also signed up to make an as-yet-unspecified TV series for Amazon Prime, which is due to be available in 2016. It is not clear whether this commitment will affect his regular film-a-year schedule.
