Bryan Cranston and Rebel Wilson to voice Kung-Fu Panda 3

Story by Jack Foley

BRYAN Cranston, Mads Mikkelsen and Rebel Wilson are joining DreamWorks Animation’s Kung Fu Panda 3.

The newcomers will line up in the recording booth with returning vocalists Jack Black, Angelina Jolie and Seth Rogen, while Jennifer Yuh Nelson, who directed the previous entry in the Kung-Fu Panda series, returns as director.

As yet, plot details are scarce. A statement from DreamWorks Animation said that it “follows Po, the chosen one, as he continues on his journey mastering the art of Kung Fu … and noodle slurping”.

However, a release date has been set for December 23, 2015 in the US, while the three-quel will be the first co-production with China-based Oriental DreamWorks.

20th Century Fox will distribute.

The first two Panda movies garnered best animation Oscar nominations and grossed $1.3 billion at the global box office.
