Channing Tatum and Keira Knightley in talks for Captain America

CHANNING Tatum and Keira Knightley have been added to the long list of names being considered for prime roles in Captain America.
According to a report on The Hollywood Reporter’s Heat Vision Blog, the GI Joe star is on a list that includes Wilson Blethel, Mike Vogel, Chris Evans and Garrett Hedlund for the lead role.
Tatum, who has just wrapped on Steven Soderbergh’s action flick Knockout, has only been approached at this stage and is not reported to have seen a script.
Knightley, meanwhile, has reportedly been approached for the role of Captain America’s sweetheart Betsy Ross – although she is one of several stars the makers would like to see.
Talks are ongoing with Hugo Weaving, meanwhile, with a view to casting him as The Red Skull
