DANIEL Craig has reportedly plulled out of courtroom drama The Whole Truth days before he was due to begin shooting in Boston.

The film, which co-stars Renee Zellweger, was to be directed by Frozen River‘s Courtney Hunt and would have seen the British actor – best known for playing James Bond – as a district attorney.

No reason has been given by The Hollywood Reporter.

Filming was scheduled to begin on April 14, 2014 but Craig reportedly left the production on Sunday. He is due to start shooting the 24th James Bond film soon, which is due out next year.

The start date for The Whole Truth has now been moved back by three weeks while a replacement is found.

The legal drama also stars 19-year-old Gabriel Basso, previously seen as Laura Linney’s son in TV series The Big C.
